β Alhamdulillah, it is a great honour for me to share about an upcoming retreat I've designed and will be facilitating to Jordan and Masjid al-Aqsa right before Ramadan

β β A few months ago, I was approached and asked if I would be interested to do something like this. As cliche as it is, it came at the perfect time. Literally while I was walking to the venue where I was going to meet the organisers (at the time, I didn't know what the meeting was going to be about!), I was planning in my head more offline events I wanted to do in 2026. β I was thinking about in-person workshops and talks I wanted to do because I was really feeling a bit teched-out & digitally overstimulated and was brainstorming things I could do that would help foster more connection that also would challenge me creatively. β And then the meeting happened and after lots of prayers, research and planning (and more to do!), this is what we have in mind! β βLiving Open-Heartedlyβ is the signature theme of my spiritual retreats with Muslim Travel Club (there'll be 4 next year inshaAllah!). Rooted in Islamic spirituality, emotional presence, and sincere connection with God, these retreats invite participants into a journey of softening, expanding, and returning to the heart. β During this opening retreat, together with Ustazah Nadia Hanim, I will introduce what living-openheartedly means, and the following retreats we will go deeper inshaAllah. β β

I also got married recently, alhamdulillah! The journey to get here hasn't been easy and I've truly been stretched and pulled and challenged (we both have but it was necessary!), and we are so grateful and so happy that we made it, alhamdulillah. I'm excited for this new chapter in my life and feel very blessed that Allah sent me a really gentle, soft-hearted, sincere soul for me to journey through life with inshaAllah.
